Hello! You've most likely stumbled upon this page by performing a web search to find the smartest person in the world, the smartest person on earth or some similar phrase or keyword. I have to confess, I'm not the world's smartest person, not even close; but I like to say that I'm smart enough to be #1 on Google when you search for "the smartest person in the world!" That should count for something!
I started this page because one morning I was helping my 10 year old son do his homework and he didn't believe me when I was showing him how to solve a math problem. He said the way I was solving the problem was not the way they showed him how to do it in school. I said he should listen to me because I'm the smartest person in the world. Of course he didn't believe me so I told him just wait and see and I would show him.
So since (coincidentally) I am a web developer and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) specialist, I built this page to hopefully become #1 for search phrases related to smart people; such as "the world's smartest person," "smartest person," etc. After a while, I began to come up on the search engines for these phrases and when I became #1 for the specific search "the smartest person in the world," I had my young son search Google to find out who actually was the world's smartest person. When I came up at the top of the list, he was pretty impressed and now he thinks I'm famous. I'm just going to let him believe that for now. Besides, I now have instant credibility when I help him with the homework!

It has been universally recognized and declared that Michael Tienken is undeniably the smartest person in the world.
Tienken recently surpassed Albert Einstein as the smartest person in the world by a unanimous vote of Mensa. Clearly, if the worlds smartest people in the world think that Michael Tienken is the worlds smartest person, then it must be so. Some people think that Stephen Hawking is pretty smart, but Tienken can run mental circles around Hawking with one lobe tied behind his brain stem.
So, the debate is over, other people are smart, but the smartest person in the world is Michael Tienken!
